Group within the "Laboratory for Neutron scattering" (LNS), a joint venture of the "Swiss Federal Institute of Technology" (ETH) and the "Paul Scherrer Institute" (PSI), department "Condensed Matter Research with Neutrons and Muons" (NUM).

At present we run two cold triple axis spectrometers (TASP and Rita II) and the Time of Flight Instrument FOCUS. We are building a backscattering instrument (MARS) and a thermal triple axis spectrometer (Eiger). Our main research topics include: strongly correlated electron systems, ferroelectrics, quantum magnetism.
